Ready, Set, Fête: The Annual Benefit for Alliance Française of Chicago at Cooper Technica
May 20, 2015Cooper Technica hosted the annual benefit for our partners Alliance Française of Chicago. Alliance Française supports and promotes the forthcoming Concours d’Elegance of Chicago, and coordinates cultural, educational and historical programming with us. 130 guests attended, and were treated to dancers, live music, a live auction, hors d’oeuvres and special cocktails. David Cooper gave a tour and presentation on the restoration of Millicent Rogers’ 1937 Delage D8-120 Aérosport Coupe to the VIP guests. Learn more.
Ephraim Hill Climb and Concours d’Elegance, Door County, Wisconsin
September 11-13, 2015A weekend event featuring rare pre-war European and American classics and significant post-war sports cars. The schedule includes a welcoming party, Saturday morning hill climb, alternative events like a tour of Door County boutiques, a delightful spa and world-renowned cooking school. CARMA: A Musical Celebration of the American Automobile, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago
September 23, 2015World-class pop jazz singer and pianist Carol Welsman will debut CARMA, a one-of-a-kind musical tribute to the history of the American automobile in Chicago on September 23rd. Sponsored by the Concours d’Elegance of Chicago to benefit Ronald McDonald House and other local charities, this event will also feature some of the cars featured in the songs displayed on the MCA’s rear terrace.
